ProLipo™

Minimally Invasive Fat Reduction in Tennessee

When it comes to our bodies, we all do our best to make time for exercise and make healthy eating choices. However, despite our best efforts, we still sometimes find ourselves pinching and glaring at our problem areas of fat in the mirror. Sciton®’s ProLipo fat reduction procedure is designed to slim the areas of the face and body that have become unresponsive to diet and exercise. This minimally invasive liposuction treatment is available with Dr. Chris Robb at the Skin & Allergy Center in Columbia, Murfreesboro, and Spring Hill, Tennessee.

ProLipo Highlights

Best for: Unwanted Fat
Treatment Time: 1 hour
Downtime: Return to work in a few days

ProLipo can effectively reduce stubborn fat and improve the contours of the:

  • Face, chin, and neck
  • Chest and bra roll
  • Abdomen
  • Back
  • Hips (love handles)
  • Thighs

What is ProLipo?

ProLipo is a minimally invasive, laser-assisted form of liposuction. This alternative to the popular fat reduction surgery provides men and women with the same body-slimming benefits, but it is more comfortable and requires very little downtime. Dr. Robb will speak with you to develop a personalized ProLipo treatment plan based on your unique problem areas and goal outcome.

How Does ProLipo Work?

Dr. Robb performs ProLipo onsite at one of our three locations in Tennessee. ProLipo is popular with both men and women who are looking to reduce specific areas of stubborn fat throughout the face or body. A mild sedative may be used during your procedure, but general anesthesia is not required.

During your ProLipo, a small incision will be made near the problem fat, and the surrounding area is numbed. From there, Dr. Robb will insert a small laser to liquefy the underlying fat cells, making for much easier removal from the body. Once the problem fat has been melted, Dr. Robb will use a thin tube (cannula) attached to a surgical pump to suction out the fat cells, leaving behind a slimmer, firmer contour.

Why Choose ProLipo?

Removal of unwanted fat no longer has to be an aggressive or painful experience. With a personalized ProLipo treatment with Dr. Robb, you can get the slim figure you want with minimal discomfort and downtime. Most of Dr. Robb’s Tennessee ProLipo patients are able to return to work in just a few days and to higher levels of activity shortly after. If you’ve been doing all you can to live a healthy lifestyle but are still struggling to lose some stubborn fat, ProLipo minimally invasive fat reduction may be your way to the body you deserve.

Kybella®

Submental Fullness Reduction in Tennessee

Men and women alike struggle with double chins, regardless of health, weight, or age. Many, however, are apprehensive about seeking a surgical solution. Surgery, however, is no longer needed to reduce stubborn fat along the chin, thanks to the Kybella injection. The Kybella injectable is one of the many services offered by Dr. Chris Robb at our three Tennessee locations in Columbia, Murfreesboro, and Spring Hill.

Kybella Highlights

Best for: Submental fullness (aka “double chin”)
Treatment Time: 15-30 minutes
Downtime: 2-3 days

Kybella is an injectable treatment option that may be right for you if you are bothered by submental fullness (commonly known as a double chin) or fat found underneath the chin and along the jawline.

What is Kybella?

Kybella is an injectable medication, which is administered into the fat underneath the chin. The active ingredient in Kybella is deoxycholic acid, a molecule that is naturally found in our bodies and is responsible for destroying fat cells. Once injected, the acid is able to destroy submental fat cells and reduce fullness along the chin.

How does Kybella work?

During your Kybella treatment, Dr. Robb will customize the experience to your unique needs. He will administer a series of small injections underneath your chin to the target areas, using a specially designed template to precisely mark all injection locations. The number of treatment sessions will depend on the individual’s neck and desired look. Dr. Robb will work with each of his Tennessee patients to determine the number of treatments needed. Different treatment sessions are performed at least a month apart, and you won’t have more than six sessions total.

Why choose Kybella?

Kybella is the only FDA approved injectable treatment that targets the fat underneath one’s chin. It uses natural ingredients and works to get rid of those pesky fat cells that are contributing to your submental fullness. If your double chin is affecting your self-confidence or making you look older than you are, Kybella is an excellent procedure to combat these issues. Dr. Robb recommends this treatment for any of his Tennessee patients who believe that their submental fullness or double chin is making them look heavier, older, or causing them to feel self-conscious about their appearance.

Infini™

Radiofrequency Microneedling Skin Rejuvenation in Tennessee

When you have scarring, wrinkles, or are unsatisfied with the overall texture of your skin, it can be difficult to feel confident enough to take on new experiences. However, the dual technology of radiofrequency (RF) waves and miconeedling have come together in Infini skin treatment, which will give you a fresh start. Dr. Chris Robb offers Infini skin treatments at the Skin & Allergy Center’s three Tennessee locations in Columbia, Murfreesboro, and Spring Hill.

Infini Highlights

Best for: Skin tightening and skin aging
Treatment Time: 1 hour
Downtime: 1 day

Infini is a great choice for men and women who want to improve common skin concerns, including:

  • Wrinkles
  • Scars or acne scarring
  • Tone and textural changes
  • Sagging skin

What is Infini?

Infini uses dual technology in order to go efficiently to the root of the problem and to provide you with fresher and stronger skin. First, the microneedles will break through the skin into the subdermal layers to stimulate your body’s natural healing response. Then radiofrequency thermal energy is released in order to heat this area and stimulate new collagen growth.

How does Infini work?

Prior to your Infini treatment, Dr. Robb will apply a topical numbing gel over your skin to ensure maximum comfort. He will then use an Infini handpiece that will administer tiny punctures from the microneedling, followed by radiofrequency thermal heat that will target deep within the skin to promote collagen growth. The combination of microneedling and radiofrequency heating both rejuvenates the look of your skin while promoting skin tightening benefits as well.

Some discomfort during the procedure may occur, and some redness may be present after treatment. However, this often disappears in a matter of days. Within a couple of weeks, patients will start to see results, and the improvements will continue over time.

Dr. Robb is able to completely personalize the settings for his Tennessee patient's Infini treatments based on each one's specific skin needs and concerns. You will receive a personalized treatment plan including customizable depth and energy level of the procedure to ensure the problem areas are treated with an approach that is comfortable and appropriate for your specific case.

Why choose Infini?

Scars and wrinkles can take a real emotional toll on a person. They often hold you back from social interactions, can lower your self-esteem, and may make you look older than you really are. We all want a fresh start, and what better way than with a refreshed appearance? Dr. Robb can personalize the Infini experience to each of his Tennessee patients to help create the refreshed, desired outcome.  The procedure is relatively painless, highly effective, and is personalized to ensure you will be thrilled with the results.

What is Exilis?

Exilis is a non-surgical, dual energy, body contouring treatment that combines the benefits of radiofrequency and ultrasound energy to treat loose skin (skin laxity) and small areas of problem fat. Dr. Robb recommends Exilis as a safe and comfortable alternative to invasive body contouring surgery. With the ability to treat various areas of the body, Exilis can help patients achieve results similar to procedures such as liposuction, a tummy tuck, an arm lift, or a thigh lift.

Exilis is not recommended for larger amounts of excess skin or stubborn fat, but is a great option for older men and women wanting to combat loose skin, or mothers looking to restore their bodies after pregnancy.

How does Exilis work?

Dr. Robb performs this non-surgical body contouring treatment on-site in Columbia, Murfreesboro, and Spring Hill, Tennessee. The use of dual energies makes Exilis a safe and effective choice for helping to reduce areas of unwanted fat or loose skin without the pain or recovery of surgical procedures.

Dr. Robb will use the Exilis handpiece to target your problem areas, delivering the right amount of radiofrequency and ultrasound energy. This process heats the underlying fat cells, causing them to shrink, while the skin is heated and tightened simultaneously. The end result is smoother, slimmer curves with next to no recovery time.

Why choose Exilis?

Having a body you can feel confident showing off is now easier than ever with Exilis. Without having to go under the knife or to spend days away from your regular routine in recovery, you can enjoy firmer, younger-looking contours for your face and body.
