Ryan Sullivan, M.D., received his bachelor’s degree at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky and earned his medical degree at the University of Tennessee. He completed his internship and residency at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee, affiliated with the University of Tennessee’s college of medicine. He subsequently completed a fellowship in Allergy, Asthma and Immunology at the University of Kansas City, Kansas.
Dr. Sullivan is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. He is also an active member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.
He is interested in several community outreach programs to help underserved children with asthma and has volunteered time as a camp counselor at Tennessee’s Camp Wheezbegone, a summer camp for kids with severe asthma.
Dr. Sullivan and his wife, Jennifar, have three children and have returned to Tennessee to be close to family. In his free time, he enjoys playing with his kids, as well as engaging in outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, horseback riding and golf.
