Get Your Glow on with Halo™!

Get Your Glow on with Halo™!

Skin Allergy, Halo - ImageIf you’re interested in rejuvenating dull and damaged skin without going under the knife or using nasty chemicals, look no further than Halo. With quick laser treatments and little to no downtime, getting glowing skin in Tennessee has never been easier.

How Is Halo So Effective?

Halo is an innovative hybrid fractional resurfacing treatment that uses dynamic laser technology to revitalize your skin. The dual wavelengths delivered by the handpiece provide both ablative and non-ablative therapies deep into the dermis. This treatment works so well because it stimulates your own natural healing process, which allows your body to naturally target and refresh the damage that you can and can’t see. You Halo session can be completely customized to correct many common issues, including:

  • Sun damage and sun spots
  • Wrinkles and fine lines
  • Enlarged pores
  • Discolorations
  • Scars
  • Uneven skin tone
  • Poor texture

Are Treatments with Halo Painful?

Halo promotes powerful skin rejuvenation with as little discomfort as possible. The handpiece itself comes with an integrated air cooling system and constant temperature monitoring to provide patients with as pleasant an experience as possible. And for the upmost comfort, a topical numbing cream may be applied 30 minutes prior to your session so that you won’t feel a thing!

Once you’re ready, the Halo handpiece will be placed over the area targeted for treatment and passed uniformly over the skin, while the motion tracking technology ensures that your skin is treated evenly. The hybrid fractional laser’s dynamic healing energy will be released into your dermal tissues until the system recognizes that the treatment is complete. The procedure usually takes about 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your specific needs and goals.

How Many Halo Treatments Will I Need?

While just one Halo session can offer significant improvement to your skin, Dr. Robb will likely recommend a series of treatments to provide you with the best possible results. Some patients prefer either one or two more aggressive sessions, whereas others go for multiple milder treatments to achieve their goals over a longer period of time. Whichever approach is right for you, Halo can be customized to meet your skin-rejuvenation needs.

How Long Do Halo’s Results Last?

Although this laser treatment is considered to be a temporary skin revitalizer, your Halo results can actually last for several years. But to maintain glowing skin, it’s extremely important that you keep your outer layer protected anytime you’re exposed to direct sunlight with either a broad spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen or clothing (including a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses). This will work to shield your new skin and prevent any damage from recurring. If you opt for continual Halo treatments, you will see an even greater improvement in your results, giving you clearer and healthier-looking skin.
